More Lincolnshire venues on offer at the National Venue Show

13th September 2006

Venue Lincolnshire, the conference and event organisation for the county, will be at The National Venue Show this September with more venues offering something a little different.

Britain's fourth largest county offers a wide variety of venues ranging from historic heritage sites with character to modern venues with many facilities.

Venue Lincolnshire has also recently expanded into the north of Lincolnshire with three new businesses - Forest Pines, Oaklands and Reeds.

The Forest Pines Golf & Country Club is one of the premier hotels to be found in North Lincolnshire with extensive facilities and also benefiting from an extensive £10 million redevelopment project.  Legacy Oaklands Country House Hotel, near Grimsby, retains much of the elegance of an English mansion and is perfect for a conference, exhibition or banquet.  Best Western Reeds Hotel is situated in a tranquil lakeside location with panoramic views of Humber Bridge, offering conference, wedding and banqueting facilities from 10 to 300 people.

For a county rich in heritage and history there are plenty of venues offering something a little bit different.  The White Hart Hotel in Lincoln can offer stunning views of the magnificent Lincoln Cathedral whilst The Olde Barn and Grantham Marriott are ideally situated near 'hidden' England's stunning stately homes.

We'll be happy to let organisers know just how Lincolnshire can help them at our stand at K39," said Venue Lincolnshire conference and events manager Helen Foster.

"Conference and event planning has never been easier.  Venue Lincolnshire's can help organisers not only find the perfect venue but also offer friendly advice and help throughout every stage of planning."

Sharing the Venue Lincolnshire stand will be county venues, Oaklands Hotel in Grimsby; The Lincoln Hotel and White Hart Hotel in Lincoln; South View Hotel in Skegness; The Olde Barn Hotel, Marston and The Marriott at Grantham, along with the University of Lincoln.

During the show Venue Lincolnshire will be offering a number of give-aways and visitors will also be able to enjoy a Taste of Lincolnshire with samples of some of the county's regional foods including Lincolnshire gingerbread men.
