New Business New Life in Lincolnshire

The New Business New Life (NBNL) campaign was a direct response to the East Midlands Economic Strategy and Business Birth Rate strategy. Its aims were twofold:

i) To raise awareness of the professional and personal rewards that starting a business offers
ii) To increase access to the existing regional business support infrastructure.

The regional NBNL campaign had culminated in large annual Enterprise Shows at Donnington Park. But attendance from Lincolnshire was low, and this project sought to overcome barriers by consolidating the brand in the county. To optimise the offering, local events sought to add value to a broader spectrum of people, including the education sector and existing businesses. They brought together workshops, keynote speakers and exhibitors to provide information, inspiration and networking opportunities; strengthened by a programme of ongoing business support.

Client:  A contract was delivered on behalf of Lincolnshire Enterprise and the EMDA

Timescale: November 2004 to March 2007
