Coastal Futures Symposium
This unique two-day conference brought together national public and private sector organisations that have a stake in the prosperity of the UK’s coastal towns. The conference sought to stimulate information, debate and ideas and was set against the backdrop of the Government’s Select Committee Inquiry into Coastal Towns.
Through an engaging programme of presentations, site visits, workshops and networking opportunities the Symposium made the case for a ‘National Coastal Regeneration Strategy’ to address the distinctive and entrenched socio-economic issues facing our coastal towns.
